REGULATIONS
International festival for talented children, teenagers, and creative groups. “Jurmala Junior” 2026

Venue: Latvia, Jurmala, Jurmala Cultural Center
Festival dates: July 23–27, 2026

Our festival is about new thinking and fresh ideas. It is a space for young and creative individuals where every teenager can express themselves, be heard, and understood. We strive to create a lively and open atmosphere where participants are not judged strictly but supported and inspired.

Goals and Objectives of Our Festival:

  1. A new perspective on creativity — we aim to show that art and creativity have no boundaries. Your ideas and self-expression will help shape a future generation that is cultural and self-confident.
  2. Support for creative teenagers — we want talented children and youth to be able to express themselves and be noticed. This is a place for those who are ready to share their art and find like-minded people.
  3. Development through creativity — our festival creates space for your cultural growth and self-expression. There are no limits here — only growth!
  4. Make every day brighter — we will add variety to the everyday life of every teenager! Here you can do what you love in an atmosphere that supports creative freedom.
  5. Exchange of experience — you will meet talented participants from different cities and countries, exchanging ideas and creating new creative connections.

Our festival is not just a place where talents are evaluated. It is a platform for growth, inspiration, and communication with those who understand and support you!

Festival Jury

The jury of our festival consists of recognized professionals in their fields, including popular artists, trainers, coaches, choreographers, as well as representatives of show business, media, and the art industry. Each jury member not only evaluates participants’ work but also acts as a mentor, guiding young talents.

Our main goal is to help each participant develop in their chosen direction. The jury provides individual recommendations, suggesting what to work on and how to improve skills. Instead of strict judging, the festival creates an environment for learning and development, where experienced experts share their professional experience, helping participants unlock their potential and overcome challenges.

Support for mentors — the festival helps leaders and teachers by giving them the opportunity to develop professional skills through exchange of experience and recommendations regarding repertoire.

Thus, the festival becomes not just a competition, but a platform for growth where every talent receives support and an opportunity to improve.

Creative Directions

The “Jurmala Junior” festival is a place where every teenager can be themselves, show their talent, and find support. Here you can try yourself in different directions, meet friends, and gain experience that will stay with you for life. Here is what it looks like:

  • Vocal — this is not just a competition, it is your opportunity to grow as an artist. We are not here to compare you with others, but to help you find your style and share it. It is important not only to sing, but also to enjoy the process.
  • Choreography — if you love dancing, this is for you! We are looking not just for dancers, but for those who dream of a big stage. The festival is your platform where your movements will be noticed and appreciated.
  • Art — if your soul is drawn to art, this section is for you. We value creative people, and here you will be able to express yourself through paintings, drawings, sculptures, or something uniquely your own. Talent will not go unnoticed!
